The color of this product is white and you will want to make sure to work this in fully before you go to dry your hair.

My suggestion is to use this on top of a conditioner or co wash left on the hair. The hold on this product is level 10 and is great for defining your wash and go but can leave the hair crunchy if you put this on your hair with just water. Best practice for this is to leave a little conditioner in the hair after you wet it so that you have a nice base to layer the gel on top of.
